About the role

We are seeking a Technical Engineer to join our team at our Mueang Samut Prakan, Samut Prakan facility on a full-time basis. In this pivotal position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mechanical engineering operations, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is integral to the success of our technical teams and contributes directly to the delivery of our engineering solutions to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical analysis and problem-solving on mechanical systems, components, and processes
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using CAD software and industry-standard tools
• Support the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies
• Perform testing and quality assurance checks to ensure products and systems meet required specifications and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions
• Maintain accurate technical records and documentation for all projects and engineering activities
• Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation phases
• Stay current with industry best practices, regulations, and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering
• Assist in the optimisation of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent technical qualification
• Proven experience working as a Technical Engineer or in a similar mechanical engineering role
• Strong proficiency with CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360) and other design and analysis tools
• Solid understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes
• Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and quality assurance procedures (ISO standards, safety regulations)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Effective communication abilities in both written and verbal forms
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to group projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical documentation software
• Preferred experience in manufacturing environments or project-based engineering work
• Preferred knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, or automation systems
