Technical Engineer

About the role

Katoen Natie Services (Thailand) Ltd. is seeking a Technical Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis in Rayong. This is a strategic position within our mechanical engineering operations, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency and optimal performance of our technical systems and equipment. As a Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing technical operations, maintenance coordination, and the implementation of engineering solutions that directly support our business objectives and operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

• Stock and Spare Parts management and coordination with internal teams (Engineers, TD Admin and Technicians) as well as financial
• Ensure all stock material has label and location identified on the trays/packaging aligned with TEREX system.
• Ensure whenever minimum stock levels are reached, replacement must be done
• Support to identify spare parts order from plant Equipment/ Rolling Equipment and Infrastructure
• Report for the end-month stock overview, and the backlog of the work orders for each departments and other TEREX reports, requested by Manager
• Create acknowledgement for the internal team as well as sharing to operation or other departments for technicals awareness
• Look after and maintain for the system used in technical department such as TEREX and TEREX PCM
• Create system to reduce the paper based process and improve on work tracking of the team
• Support team for system/ software migration such as TEREX migration, and document storing migration
• Ensure, maintain and manage for the up to date of calibration and certification plan and team notification and coordinate internally to complete the maintenance inspection
• Control all of maintenance documents, manual, service or certification
• Respond for TD assets; assets labelling, new equipment adding, equipment status checking report
• Summarizing daily, weekly, and monthly reports as requested from the manager
• In charge to response, sourcing ensures materials, staffing and resources to support maintenance activity
• Support Internal & External Audit such as ISO 9001,14001,18001 and customer audit
• Support to provide technical info. for customer complaints
• Ensure the reliability on Technical team such as maintaining machines downtime report or other TD records
• Hand-on support to technical team when needed and other works assigned by TD management
• Monthly record of safety/quality non-conformities and BBS through HSSEQ.
• Manual link HSSEQ task to TEREX system
• Provide technical advice/training for technicians or operation and record by TOTARA
• Look after for office supplies as well as cleanliness and tidiness of maintenance office area

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• Minimum of 3-5 years' professional experience in Technical, Spare Parts, Maintenance Packing Line would be beneficial

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, Rolling Equipment maintenance and Plant Equipment

• Proficiency in computer-aided design, Paper-based reduction, Digitization

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues

• Sound understanding of safety protocols, maintenance best practices and relevant industry standards

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Proficiency in English and Thai languages is advantageous

• Experience in logistics, warehousing or port operations would be beneficial
