TECHNICAL ENGINEER ( ELECTRICAL)

CONSTRUCTION DIVISION

• Coordinate and monitor electrical installation works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review electrical drawings, technical submissions, and material specifications to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor site progress and ensure electrical works are completed according to the project schedule.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure the quality of electrical installations meets the required standards.
• Assist in preparing technical documents, method statements, material submissions, and inspection reports.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between electrical drawings and actual site conditions.
• Ensure electrical works comply with applicable safety regulations, standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems and equipment.
• Monitor subcontractors' performance and ensure work is carried out according to approved procedures.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain proper technical documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior or management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and construction practices.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Familiar with relevant electrical standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
