Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Engineer – Joinery Works to join our team in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical shop drawings, coordinating with consultants and site teams, managing joinery-related technical submissions, and ensuring smooth coordination between design, production, and site installation teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of joinery works, including wooden doors, wardrobes, cabinets, wall paneling, decorative woodwork, and custom-made furniture, with the ability to interpret architectural drawings and translate design requirements into practical manufacturing and installation details.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings based on architectural and interior design drawings.
• Prepare cutting lists, material take-offs, and joinery specifications as required.
• Review architectural drawings, BOQs, specifications, and site conditions to identify technical issues and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, interior designers, project managers, and site engineers for drawing approvals and technical clarifications.
• Prepare and submit material submittals, technical data sheets, samples, and method statements where required.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure drawings and technical details are clear before manufacturing.
• Conduct site visits and verify measurements and actual site conditions before releasing drawings for production.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and installation teams to ensure proper execution of joinery works as per approved drawings.
• Follow up on drawing approvals, material approvals, site readiness, and project progress to avoid unnecessary delays.
• Resolve technical issues related to dimensions, hardware, finishes, installation details, and coordination with other trades.
• Ensure all joinery works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, approvals, and technical correspondence.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
