Technical Engineer (Junior/Senior)

• Establishing and monitoring the progress and objectives of the design work, supervising the work plans of the design staff, and ensuring that the design work is completed on time.

• Reviewing design plans, including structural, architectural, interior design, plumbing and drainage, infrastructure works to ensure that they meet project requirements, relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

• Coordinating communication and cooperation between the design department and other project departments, resolving design issues in a timely manner, and coordinating the interests of all parties.

• Monitoring design changes during the construction process and controlling the cost and impact of design changes to ensure that construction progress and quality are not affected.

• Organizing the preparation and review of design documents to ensure the accuracy of design files, such as construction drawings, bills of quantities, and material specifications.

• Establishing and improving design standards, regulations, systems, and processes to improve the quality and efficiency of design work.

• Providing technical guidance, coordinating the execution of construction plans, processes, and technical requirements, and making technical suggestions.

• Communicating with clients to understand their needs, communicating and coordinating design plans with clients.

• Provide administrative support to the project management team as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.

• Proficient in planning software (e.g. Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).

• Knowledgeable in construction procedures and standards.

• Good communication and coordination skills, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to adapt to the construction site working environment.

• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to communicate in Chinese is an added advantage for work-related coordination with suppliers and stakeholders.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, candidates with 1-3 years of experience are preferred.
