TECHNICAL ENGINEER ( MECHANICAL)

CONSTRUCTION DIVISION

• Coordinate and monitor mechanical installation works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review mechanical drawings, technical submissions, and material specifications to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor site progress and ensure mechanical works are completed within the project timeline.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure the quality of mechanical installations meets the required standards.
• Assist in preparing technical documents, method statements, material submissions, and inspection reports.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between mechanical drawings and actual site conditions.
• Coordinate mechanical works, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and other building services, where applicable.
• Monitor subcontractors' performance and ensure works comply with approved drawings and procedures.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, technical standards, and project requirements.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain proper technical documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior or management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, installation methods, and construction practices.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Familiar with relevant mechanical standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
