TECHNICAL ENGINEER (MOULDING)

Qualification:

1. Diploma / Degree & above in (Moulding/ Vocational/ Technical/ or equivalent)
2. Minimum 2 years of working experience in production / manufacturing management and technical
3. Required skills/ knowledge: moulding process/ production control/ machine maintenance
4. Proficient in spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Responsibility:

1. Responsible for all aspects of the injection moulding process including, but not limited to, set-up and tear down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and work flow
2. Managing raw moulding materials in a way that ensures traceability and prevents contamination
3. Optimises all machine processes by reducing scrap, cycle times and mould changes times
4. Assist with launches of new programs by building a new process to ensure quality products of parts and attends launch meetings prior to production start-up as needed
5. Maintains and secures controlled injection process by using part weights by using plastics data and using a systematics approach to optimizing current running process
6. Directs set-ups for molds using efficient mold change systems and robotics

Function:

1. All work conduct whenever & whichever applicable, shall be as spelled out in the company's standard operating procedures
2. Working with production to ensure molded components meet requirements, making adjustments as required other assignments as requested
