Position: Technical Engineer (Nylon)
Location: Rayong Plant, Thailand Department/Division: UTCA Nylon Technical

Job Summary
Technical Engineer specializing in nylon applications, bridging the gap between product innovation, manufacturing, and customer success. Responsible for driving portfolio expansion through recipe design and strategic R&D collaborations, while providing expert troubleshooting for both plant operations and external clients to fuel business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Engagement & Support: Directly engage with customers through visits and proactive communication to understand their needs, provide expert troubleshooting, and manage any technical claims efficiently.
2. New Business & Product Promotion: Define and execute technical studies that demonstrate the value of our products, create compelling promotional tools for our existing portfolio, and deliver impactful seminars or presentations to customers and at industry conferences.
3. Product Innovation & Expansion: Drive the expansion of our product portfolio by developing new product ideas and recipes, as well as redesigning existing products. This involves building a strong network with key industry players, including resin makers, additive manufacturers, machine makers, and end-users, to collaborate on ambitious projects.
4. Strategic R&D Collaboration: Coordinate and manage projects with domestic and international universities that have the potential to contribute significantly to the company's future growth and technological advancements.
5. Manufacturing Support: Provide essential technical assistance to our plant and production teams, including on-the-spot analysis, troubleshooting, product homologations, and justifying alternative raw materials.
6. Safety & Compliance: Consistently conduct all work in adherence to company disciplines, rules, and safety protocols.
7. Cross-Functional Contribution: Successfully complete additional assignments from technical leaders and managers, contributing to the overall success of the technical team.

Qualification:

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering, Chemical Technology, Chemistry, Polymer Science or related fields
2. 2 - 5 years of experience in Nylon or Compound processing is required.
3. Good command in English
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong analytical skills
5. Able to work in Rayong
