Technical Executive

About the role

Support the implementation of product development strategies and lifecycle, from conceptualization, design, production to product launching.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure the creation of design specifications, technical drawings and prototypes meet the industry and IMS standards; customers and other relevant stakeholders' requirement
• Support implementation and integration of IMS within departmental processes, and address any issues of incompliance
• Liaise with Procurement department to ensure that materials supplied meet all the product specification and requirements
• Collaborate with Production, QA, Engineering, Sales and Production Planning departments to ensure smooth transition from prototype to mass production
• Provide technical support to relevant departments, resolve any design and manufacturing issues and optimize processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Implement rigorous testing procedures, analyze results and implement necessary design modifications to ensure product durability, functionality and safety
• Communicate IMS requirements i.e. Policy, Objectives, etc. to relevant stakeholders/parties
• Ensure departmental risks & opportunities, environmental aspects & impacts and OH&S hazards & risks are identified and assessed, with appropriate controls implemented
• Attend to internal audits and meetings, participate in training programs provided.

Requirements:

• Posses a Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ experience in products technical design especially in metal products.
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD and SOLIDWORKS software
• Strong leadership with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and simulation capabilities.
• Understanding of ISO Integrated Management System (IMS)
