Technical Executive

Carry out and/or supervise routine checks, preventive maintenance, and corrective servicing of building services, equipment, or IT infrastructure

Track, manage and resolve guest maintenance and service requests and any technical faults

Monitor system performance, uptime, and response times

Oversees maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building systems

Coordinate and supervise contractors and/or service providers

Monitor utility consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives

Ensure compliance with hotel standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements

Supervise on-site vendors and contractors during planned or ad-hoc maintenance

Source, negotiate, and follow up with external parties on repair, replacement work, and service contracts

Maintain maintenance records, equipment logs, and asset registers

Monitor and maintain maintenance orders, equipment logs, work orders (NGB), maintenance reports, and preventive maintenance schedules

Follow up on PRNs, quotations, purchases, and service contracts

Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and engineering supplies

Track departmental expenses and support budget control

Maintain records for audits, inspections, licences, and regulatory compliance

Perform basic diagnostics and hands-on troubleshooting for technical faults

Conduct incident investigations, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions

Ensure all works adhere strictly to Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and statutory requirements

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline

2 to 5 years of experience in hotel engineering or facilities maintenance

Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems

Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.

Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
