Technical Functional Analyst | Testing Application & Systems | Madrid

We’re hiring: MiddleTechnical Functional Analyst | Madrid At Capitole, we are looking for a Technical Functional Analyst to join an international project within the railway sector. This is a great opportunity for someone with a technical background and a strong interest in understanding business processes, applications and system integrations. You don’t need to know the specific platform from day one: you will receive training in S3P. What matters most is your analytical mindset, technical foundation and ability to learn and understand how complex systems work. Location: Madrid Hybrid model: 2–3 days per week at the office What will you be doing? Analyse business requirements related to fares, trains, seat inventory and sales rules. Investigate technical and functional documentation to understand how the system works. Translate business needs into functional configurations and solutions within S3P. Configure data, business rules and new use cases within the application. Perform functional testing and validate new configurations and functionalities. Analyse, reproduce and document incidents. Understand application integrations and work with APIs, Postman and SOAP/web services. Create and manage incidents and technical-functional tickets using Jira. Collaborate with Development teams, business stakeholders and external providers. Document requirements, configurations, solutions and test results. Continuously learn the application ecosystem and contribute to process improvements. What are we looking for? ¿¿ Around 1–3 years of experience in Technical-Functional Analysis, application support, ERP/business systems, application configuration or similar environments. ¿¿ Technical background and the ability to understand how different applications and systems interact. ¿¿ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ¿¿ Interest in understanding business processes and translating them into system configurations. ¿¿ Basic knowledge or experience with APIs, REST/SOAP, Postman or similar tools. ¿¿ Experience with Jira or other ticketing tools would be valuable. ¿¿ Ability to read documentation, investigate independently and quickly learn new applications. ¿¿ Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business teams. ¿¿ High level of English. ¿ Knowledge of French would be highly valued. ¿ Previous experience with ERP, inventory, transportation, railway, e-commerce or other business management systems would be a plus. Don't know S3P? No problem! Previous S3P experience is not required. You will receive training to become familiar with the platform and its functional ecosystem.
