Technical Head

About the role

The primary purpose of this role is to translate client requirements gathered by Account Executives into accurate, well-structured proposals aligned with our product portfolio. You will lead and oversee the technical team's output — verifying precision in carpet quantity calculations, layouts, and plans — ensuring all deliverables are correct and ready for submission to Account Executives and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and clarify client needs from Account Executives and translate them into formal proposals based on our available product range.
• Provide technical support and guidance to Account Executives throughout the sales and project cycle.
• Lead, guide, and manage the technical team to ensure all requests from Account Executives are delivered accurately and on time.
• Assign and schedule daily tasks — incoming projects, site measurements, collections, and carpet quantity/layout work — to team members effectively.
• Supervise computation of carpet quantities, accessories, and cutting/layout plans for installation.
• Guide installation teams on cutting plans and site execution requirements.
• Review and verify all team output — quantities, measurements, layouts, and technical drawings — before release to Account Executives.
• Personally compute carpet quantities and prepare details for quotation as required.
• Conduct site inspections and measurements as needed.
• Attend site visits with installers to assess, rectify, or confirm carpet installation details.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role— overseeing technical work, guiding team members, and coordinating across departments.
• Background in technical coordination, quantity estimation, or sales support — preferably in flooring, construction, or interior solutions.
• Strong aptitude for measurement, calculation, layout planning, and technical drawing review.
• Ability to read and interpret plans; proficiency in design or CAD software, SketchUp and Photoshop is a strong advantage.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills — able to bridge technical, sales, and field teams clearly.
• Detail-oriented, decisive, and capable of verifying accuracy in numerical and graphical output.
• Willingness to conduct site visits and field inspections as required.
