Technical Head Paper Board Plant Morocco

Role Overview

The Technical Head will direct all engineering, plant maintenance, and technical operations for our client into paper board manufacturing facility in Casablanca, Morocco.

This executive role requires a high-caliber leader to oversee production plant, maximize machine efficiency and manage large, multicultural teams

Key Responsibilities

• Plant Operations & Maintenance: Direct preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance across all paper board production lines like multi-cylinder dryers, coating kitchens and slitter-rewinders, etc.
• Workforce Leadership: Successfully lead and harmonize a large workforce consisting of both local and expatriate engineers/technicians. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Process & Quality Optimization: Standardise technical parameters to ensure consistent, high-yield production of premium paper board grades.
• Utility Management: Supervise critical plant utility infrastructures, including high-pressure boilers, Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) and power generators

Candidate Requirements : Education & Professional Experience

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Paper Technology Engineering.
• Experience: 18 to 20 years of heavy manufacturing experience, with a minimum of 5 to 8 years in a senior technical leadership role specifically in paper board industry in Africa
• Methodologies: Strong execution knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and expertise in ERP.
• French: Proficient spoken French is mandatory. Must be capable of smoothly managing technical discussions, daily shop-floor operations and workplace relations with local staff apart from English.
• Must be fully medically fit to work in a heavy, continuous-process industrial plant environment.

Compensation & Expat Benefits

Compensation will be in the range of USD 3000 To USD. 3500 net of tax per month plus local currency equivalent to USD.300**.** The package includes :
