Technical Helpdesk Support (Linux/Unix)

We are seeking a Technical Helpdesk Support professional with experience in Linux/Unix environments to join an IBM project supporting the Travel & Transportation industry. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance, troubleshoot system and user issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents while maintaining high service standards.

📍 Quezon City, Philippines (Hybrid Setup)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Linux/Unix-related incidents and service requests.
• Monitor system performance and escalate critical issues when necessary.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and workarounds accurately.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service continuity and issue resolution.
• Adhere to established SLAs and support processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Technical Helpdesk, Service Desk, or IT Support roles.

• Hands-on experience supporting Linux or Unix operating systems.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Experience with incident and ticket management tools.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Willing to work on a hybrid setup and night shift schedule in Quezon City.

• Basic Shell/Bash scripting knowledge.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes.

• Experience supporting enterprise production environments.
