Technical Illustrator

Akkodis is seeking an entry-level Graphic/Technical Illustrator for a reputable company in the Des Moines, IA metro area! Seeking someone to produce technical illustrations using CAD, and Adobe Suite.

Location: Des Moines, IA metro

Rate Range: $21/hour to $25/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

What You’ll Do

• Work with engineering, service, and product safety teams to create clear operator and maintenance manual content.
• Update existing manuals and develop new content for small machine models.
• Produce technical illustrations using 2D/3D tools, photos, and CAD-based drawings.
• Manage small‑scope projects and collaborate with reviewers to finalize documents.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s in a technical/design field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe FrameMaker/Illustrator/Photoshop.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical knowledge preferred.
