Technical Implementation Consultant (Remote)

We are looking for a Technical Implementation Consultant to join a growing implementation team supporting enterprise software solutions.

This role focuses on software configuration, technical onboarding, financial data mapping, project coordination, testing, and post-implementation support. You will work closely with customers, developers, and internal product teams to ensure solutions are configured accurately, implemented efficiently, and supported effectively.

This is a hands-on implementation and product consulting role rather than a sales or account management position.

Key Responsibilities

1. Software Implementation & Configuration

• Configure software solutions based on customer requirements.
• Set up dashboards, reports, users, permissions, and customer-specific settings.
• Coordinate customer onboarding and implementation activities.
• Maintain reusable implementation templates and standards.

2. Financial Data Mapping & Configuration

• Perform Trial Balance mapping within the software.
• Validate KPI mappings and financial data.
• Interpret Trial Balances and financial reports.
• Maintain mapping standards and supporting documentation.
• Assist with AI-supported mapping processes.
• Investigate and resolve configuration or mapping issues.

3. Project Coordination

• Prepare and maintain implementation plans.
• Coordinate implementation workshops and work-in-progress meetings.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and customer actions.
• Coordinate with developers regarding customization requirements.
• Support customer go-live activities.

4. Product Expertise & Continuous Improvement

• Develop strong knowledge of the company's software platforms.
• Help customers make effective use of available product capabilities.
• Translate complex software functionality into practical solutions.
• Gather customer feedback and identify potential product improvements.
• Create implementation templates, checklists, and best-practice documentation.
• Identify opportunities for workflow automation and AI adoption.

5. Testing & Quality Assurance

• Validate software configurations before deployment.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Test new software releases and verify bug fixes.
• Maintain implementation documentation and knowledge resources.

6. AI & Productivity

• Use approved AI productivity tools as part of daily work.
• Develop reusable prompts, templates, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve implementation efficiency through automation and AI.

7. Help Desk & Client Support

• Manage and resolve customer inquiries through a help desk system.
• Provide timely and accurate technical support.
• Identify recurring support issues and recommend improvements to products, processes, or documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong customer communication and consulting skills.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills, including:

  • Formulas
  • PivotTables
  • Lookups
  • Data analysis

• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

• Ability to interpret Trial Balances and financial reports.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.

• Ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously.

• Ability to quickly learn and understand complex enterprise software.

• Strong documentation skills.

• Comfortable using AI productivity tools.

• Experience with Google Workspace.

• Experience using Jira or similar project/issue tracking tools.

Highly Desirable

• Accounting qualification or currently pursuing one.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Enterprise SaaS implementation experience.
• Business intelligence, reporting, or analytics experience.
• ERP or accounting software experience.
• SQL or database knowledge.
• Experience in the automotive or related industry.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
• Experience using AI tools within business productivity environments.
