The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to take on a broad, technical customer-facing role within a growing technology business.In this role, you would help customers understand and adopt the platform while supporting the development of effective solutions and delivery processes.

The role combines technical problem-solving, customer engagement, implementation, commercial awareness, and team leadership.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across commercial, customer, product, and technical functions, helping turn customer requirements into practical solutions.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Development

• Help develop and grow the Technical Solutions and Implementation capability.
• Lead, mentor, and support members of the team.
• Contribute to effective processes, planning, documentation, and ways of working.
• Help establish scalable approaches as the business grows.
• Support the development of team capabilities and responsibilities over time.

Customer Solutions & Implementation

• Work with customers to understand their objectives, processes, requirements, and challenges.
• Support the delivery and implementation of technology solutions.
• Help develop practical approaches to complex customer requirements.
• Coordinate activities across customers and internal teams to help drive successful outcomes.
• Support issue resolution and help ensure customer projects progress effectively.
• Take ownership of selected customer engagements and initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and delivery process.

Technical Solutions

• Translate business requirements into practical technical approaches.
• Work with data, systems, workflows, and integrations as required.
• Support technical discovery and solution design.
• Help investigate and resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Work with internal technical teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and appropriately addressed.
• Contribute to automation, analysis, configuration, and other technical initiatives where appropriate.

Your background:

You are someone that combines technical capability, commercial awareness, customer focus, and leadership experience.

You might have the following background

• Experience working in a B2B SaaS or technology environment ideally energy trading SaaS or similar.
• Experience in technical solutions, implementation, professional services implementation, sales engineering, business analysis, technical account management, or a related area.
• Experience working directly with customers on complex requirements or technology projects.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or developing people, ideally at least 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to understand complex requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders.
• Experience working with data, systems, integrations, or technology-enabled business processes.
• A technical, quantitative, or analytical background, ideally a STEM degree.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• A commercially minded and pragmatic approach.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-moving environment.
• Some experience with scripting, automation, or technical tools. (Python)
• Strong Excel and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English.
