Technical Installation Executive

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Technical Installation Executive to handle on-site assembly, wiring, configuration, and testing of our technical systems and hardware. In this role, you will be responsible for traveling to customer locations, executing precise installations according to engineering drawings and technical manuals, troubleshooting setup issues, and training end-users on proper system operation.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Site Installation: Mount, wire, assemble, and integrate hardware systems, machinery, network equipment, or electronics at client premises in line with safety and technical guidelines.
• System Configuration & Calibration: Load required firmware/software, configure network and system settings, and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance prior to client handover.
• Troubleshooting & Testing: Perform rigorous pre-commissioning testing, diagnose setup errors or signal faults, and resolve hardware/software connectivity issues on-site.
• Site Readiness Assessment: Conduct initial pre-installation site surveys to verify power supply, structural suitability, wiring pathways, and environmental conditions.
• Client Handover & Training: Demonstrate system functionality to clients, conduct basic operational training for facility staff, and collect formal installation sign-off documentation.
• Service Documentation: Maintain precise logs of site visits, completed installations, serial numbers, component replacements, and technical ticket updates within the Field Service Management (FSM) or CRM software.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to occupational safety protocols, electrical guidelines, site permit rules, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

Core Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of field service experience in hardware installation, networking, CCTV/security systems, industrial automation, or telecommunications setup.
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to read schematics, blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical manuals; proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment (multimeters, cable testers, spectrum analyzers).
• Network & IT Basics: Solid understanding of basic networking concepts (IP configuration, routers, switches, LAN/WAN cabling) and software setup.
• Mobility & Physical Fitness: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally or regionally; ability to lift equipment, work on ladders/elevated platforms, and operate in varied field environments.
• Communication Skills: Professional demeanor with strong customer-facing communication abilities.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
