Location: Warton (2 days per week) & Samlesbury (1 day per week)

Contract: 12-Month Contract

Security: BPSS & SC Clearance Required (or eligibility to obtain)

Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain Security Clearance (SC) and complete BPSS screening.

This role also requires compliance with ITAR regulations.

We're looking for an experienced Technical Integration Engineer to join a leading Defence & Security organisation, supporting the integration of complex systems across cutting-edge defence programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of system integration activities, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure solutions are delivered safely, effectively and in line with programme requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the integration of complex defence systems and technologies
• Work closely with Engineering teams to ensure successful system integration
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve technical integration issues
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop and maintain integration procedures, plans and documentation
• Support risk identification, assessment and mitigation activities
• Monitor integration progress and communicate updates to key stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with ITAR and project-specific requirements

What You'll Need

Essential

• Experience in systems integration within Defence, Aerospace or a similar highly regulated environment
• Strong understanding of systems integration methodologies and processes
• Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification

Desirable

• Previous experience on complex defence platforms or programmes
• Knowledge of ITAR requirements
• Experience supporting verification, validation or system acceptance activities
