Technical Intern (NOC / Technical Specialist Apprentice)

Part-time. Learn NOC monitoring, technical support fundamentals, and security tooling in a supervised apprenticeship role. About the role EZETech is a locally owned Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Port St. Lucie, Florida, founded in 2012, delivering managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and VoIP services to businesses. This is a hands-on learning role designed to build foundational IT and security operations skills. During the apprenticeship phase, you will work under supervision, learning and assisting in the areas below. What you will learn and assist with - Monitoring systems, servers, endpoints, and network devices - Alert handling, prioritization, and escalation procedures - Shadowing support staff on client and internal tickets; assisting with documentation, ticket updates, and resolution notes - Remote support tools and basic troubleshooting techniques - Triage of client and system-generated tickets; service level objectives, severity classification, and response workflows - Fundamentals of endpoint protection, access controls, and monitoring tools; observing security alerts and incident workflows under supervision - Maintaining internal documentation and runbooks - Compliance-driven operational practices used in regulated environments, following EZETech policies, procedures, and acceptable use standards Scope of the apprenticeship - Apprentices will not act as primary responders to client issues - Apprentices will not make production changes without supervision and approval - Apprentices will not access sensitive systems or data beyond what is required for training What we are looking for - Strong interest in IT, networking, and cybersecurity - Eagerness to learn in a hands-on environment How to apply Apply here on Indeed, or submit your resume through our resume form at https://ezetech.com/submit-resume/ and name this role in the Message box.
