Our client is a fast-growing, award-winning wealth-tech company based in Hong Kong. Its technology covers mobile apps, web portals, wealth middle and back-office systems, trading and API integration. It is growing quickly and building AI Agents into its wealth management workflows.

About the Role
As Technical Lead, you will fully own the engineering team behind the company's financial back-office platform. You will lead architecture, R&D delivery and system stability as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of team management, architecture planning, R&D delivery and system stability for the financial back-office platform, supporting the business as it scales.
• Drive technology roadmap and stack decisions, system design, capacity planning and performance tuning. Solve the technical challenges of high-concurrency financial systems.
• Turn business requirements into technical solutions and ensure agile delivery. Own system availability, quality and engineering efficiency.
• Improve the microservice framework, strengthen governance of MySQL, Redis and Kafka, and build reusable technical assets for the financial domain.
• Build the team: lead hiring and performance management, and set up code review and knowledge-sharing practices.
• Work closely with the Business, Risk and Product teams to keep operations stable and financially compliant. Explore new technologies, including AI Agents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Solid knowledge of wealth management and financial services, and familiarity with financial compliance requirements.
• 5+ years of backend development experience, including 3+ years managing a technical team.
• Proficient in Java / Go, with a proven record of delivering large-scale microservice projects on Spring Boot / Spring Cloud.
• Deep understanding of how MySQL, Redis and Kafka work under the hood, with hands-on high-availability and high-concurrency performance tuning.
• Able to design large-scale financial system architecture and diagnose complex production incidents on your own.
• Strong business understanding and cross-department communication skills. Able to balance delivery speed against technical debt.
• Good risk awareness, logical thinking and decision-making skills.
