Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain microservices-based applications following best practices and design principles.
• Build secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Work extensively with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned backend services and technical components.
• Analyze technical requirements and independently translate them into robust and maintainable solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and production-ready code.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement performance improvements.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases and optimize queries and data access.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure backend services meet requirements for security, scalability, availability, and reliability.
• Stay updated with modern backend technologies and contribute to continuous technical improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Java 8/11/17.
• Strong expertise in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Proven hands-on experience developing microservices.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, API design, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB/MongoDB.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Good understanding of unit testing and test-driven development practices.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
