Technical Lead

About The Role This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll continue developing software while helping establish and grow the Manila engineering team. You'll work closely with an established European product team, contribute to architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and drive AI-assisted software development using modern engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using .NET Core and React.
• Build scalable cloud-native applications and microservices on Azure.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Guide and mentor software engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical coaching.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Work with AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Ensure high standards for code quality, system performance, scalability, and security.
• Support Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to successful feature delivery.
• Help establish technical standards and best practices for the growing Manila engineering team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in C#/.NET Core development.
• 2+ years of experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Engineer leading development teams.
• Strong experience with React and modern front-end development.
• Experience building cloud-based microservices using Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SQL databases, Entity Framework Core, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with MassTransit.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Working Conditions
