Curated is partnered with a high-growth, AI-first technology business, one of the most profitable in their sector, to find a Technical Lead to join their expanding engineering team in London.

Their platform handles complex, high-stakes transactions at scale across a multi-step customer journey. Every part of that journey is being rebuilt from the ground up, with a product-led team, a modern stack, and AI woven into the core. The ambition is to scale the business 2 to 3x. This role helps build the technology that gets them there.

This is a hands-on engineering leadership role. You will own technical design and delivery end to end, lead and grow a team of engineers, and work directly with product and the business to turn complex problems into elegant, scalable solutions. Not someone who delegates and reviews.

Someone who codes, leads, and shapes how the team works.

What they are looking for

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of technical leadership on complex, high-impact initiatives
• Proficient in .NET Core/C#, with strong fundamentals across distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native development
• Experience with Azure, SQL/CosmosDB, TypeScript, and React. Domain-driven design and event sourcing are strong advantages
• Comfortable owning architectural decisions, managing technical risk, and surfacing uncertainty early
• A genuine team builder. You coach and mentor through pairing and code review, not just through meetings
• Active adopter of AI-native development practices and agentic tooling
• Industry background matters less than engineering depth and mindset. We are deliberately hiring from outside the sector
