Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Lead .NET/Backend who can take end-to-end technical ownership of backend development, guide the development team, and contribute hands-on to architecture, design, development, integration, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend solutions using C#, .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
• Define technical approach, architecture, design patterns, and development standards.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs, Web APIs and system integrations.
• Design and optimize Oracle, SQL Server databases, queries and stored procedures.
• Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developers.
• Analyse complex technical issues and drive resolution.
• Coordinate with QA, DevOps, frontend teams, architects, and project stakeholders.
• Participate in estimation, technical planning, task breakdown, and delivery planning.
• Ensure timely delivery of backend components and technical commitments.
• Support production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Identify opportunities for performance, scalability, and code-quality improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and design specifications.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of experience in .NET/C# development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Strong experience in REST API development and system integrations.
• Strong SQL Server and database development experience.
• Experience with Entity Framework / EF Core.
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID, design patterns and clean architecture.
• Experience with application security, authentication, and authorization.
• Good understanding of microservices and scalable application design.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and Agile/Scrum.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
• Ability to mentor developers and conduct effective code reviews.

Good to Have

• Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL and Azure DevOps.
• Docker/Kubernetes.
• Messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
• Redis/caching.
• OAuth2/JWT/Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Experience with GIS, enterprise applications, or integration-heavy projects.
