About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead / Team Leader with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, and Microservices. Candidates with experience in the Telecom domain, particularly 4G/5G/3GPP and Policy & Charging systems (PCC/PCF/PCRF), are required for this role.

The selected candidate will lead a team of engineers and contribute to the design and development of highly scalable, high-performance and low-latency telecom applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers/engineers.
• Design and develop scalable, highly available and low-latency microservices.
• Drive technical architecture, design decisions and development best practices.
• Work extensively with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka and Redis.
• Develop and maintain Kafka-based event-streaming solutions for real-time processing.
• Implement Redis for caching and data storage.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability and resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot complex technical and performance issues.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Plan tasks, track deliverables and ensure timely project execution.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
• Support the development of robust telecom applications meeting high reliability and performance requirements.

Required Experience

• 7–10 years of overall experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience in Kafka, Redis and Microservices.
• Experience in designing scalable and robust application architectures.
• Good knowledge of databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and team-management skills.
• Mandatory Telecom domain experience with exposure to 3G/4G/5G, 3GPP and Policy & Charging systems (PCC/PCF/PCRF).
