Technical Lead

Required skills:

6-8 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on Java, J2EE, Microservices and JavaScript.

• Strong expertise in microservices-based architecture, demonstrating the ability to design, build, and manage microservices.
• Exceptional knowledge of database systems, particularly PostgreSQL, and expertise in SQL.
• Proven experience in team management, including at least 2-3 years of direct team leadership.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills to ensure the clarity and comprehensiveness of technical documentation and team communication.
• Self-motivated, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent).
• Experience in implementing AI-first engineering practices, prompt engineering, and responsible AI usage.

Desired skills:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and UI frameworks like Angular or React for front-end development.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud services and serverless computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of software security best practices.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Websub, Hibernate, and GraphQL. Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure project success.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions, using Python, Java, and JavaScript for front-end development.
• Architect and develop RESTful services and microservices using FastAPI, Spring Boot, and other modern frameworks.
• Work with a microservices-based architecture, ensuring the scalability, resilience, and maintainability of the applications.
• Apply your strong database and SQL knowledge, especially with PostgreSQL, to design and optimize data structures.
• Play a key role in the technical documentation process, ensuring clear and comprehensive documentation for the team's work.
• Communicate effectively with team members, project stakeholders, and clients to provide updates, gather requirements, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Champion AI-first software development practices.
• Automate development, testing, documentation, and release engineering using AI.
• Ensure AI-generated code meets architecture, security, and maintainability standards.
• Continuously evaluate emerging AI tools and recommend adoption.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
