Technical Lead

Aventis is looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to drive the technical execution and engineering quality of the Prezio platform. The role translates business and product requirements into robust technical solutions and helps the team ship reliably.

Key Responsibilities

·      Own technical direction and day-to-day engineering execution for Prezio.

·      Translate requirements into technical designs, implementation plans, and engineering tasks.

·      Design and review backend services, APIs, integrations, data flows, and application architecture.

·      Lead code reviews and maintain standards for readability, maintainability, security, performance, and testability.

·      Work hands-on with backend/API development, preferably Go, and modern frontend technologies such as React/React Native.

·      Guide database design, data processing, caching, and performance improvements, including Redis where appropriate.

·      Work with AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, environments, deployments, and production troubleshooting.

·      Identify technical risks, dependencies, technical debt, and architectural gaps and drive them to resolution.

·      Mentor engineers, unblock developers, and improve engineering practices.

·      Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and client-facing stakeholders.

·      Participate in production support, incident analysis, root-cause investigation, and preventive improvements.

·      Maintain practical technical documentation for architecture, services, integrations, and operations.

Required Experience & Skills

·      7+ years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership.

·      Strong backend/API engineering experience; Python, Node is preferred.

·      Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, integrations, and application architecture.

·      Hands-on experience with React and/or React Native.

·      Strong SQL/relational database fundamentals and caching technologies such as Redis.

·      Experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud environments.

·      Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

·      Experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, automated testing, deployments, and release management.

·      Strong debugging and production problem-solving skills.

·      Comfort working in Agile/Scrum environments.
