Role Overview

We're looking for a Technical Lead who is equal parts backend developer and project manager. You'll write and review code, and you'll run the development team that delivers our HubSpot integrations, migrations and custom builds.

You own delivery from start to finish: planning the work, assigning and confirming hours, keeping the team on schedule, making sure nothing goes live until it has been properly tested, and keeping clients informed in plain language. Our team works in Spanish and English every day, so you'll lead comfortably in both.

What You'll Do

Lead the development team

• Lead a team of developers on HubSpot integrations, migrations and custom builds

• Plan projects, break work into tasks, and assign and confirm hours each week

• Keep delivery on schedule and step in early when someone is blocked or falling behind

• Set coding standards, review pull requests and mentor developers

Build and own the technical work

• Design and build backend services, APIs, and integrations between HubSpot and other systems

• Plan and run data migrations into HubSpot, including mapping, cleanup, validation and cutover

• Work hands-on with the HubSpot APIs, custom objects, webhooks, private apps and custom-code workflows

Own quality and the client relationship

• Run QA on every project: test plans, UAT and sign-off before anything goes live

• Be the technical point of contact for clients and explain progress, risks and decisions clearly

• Keep projects, tasks and time tracked in HubSpot and our project tools

What You Bring

• Years of professional backend development (Node.js, Python, PHP or similar)

• Hands-on experience with HubSpot APIs, integrations or migrations

• Experience leading developers and managing projects end-to-end: planning, estimating, hours, and delivery

• A disciplined QA process. You don't ship untested work.

• Confidence speaking with clients and explaining technical work to non-technical people

• Fluent English

• Based in Latin America, with daily overlap with U.S. Eastern business hours

• HubSpot or project management certifications (PMP, Scrum or similar) are a strong advantage

• Projects go live on time, on budget, and fully tested

• Your team knows its priorities every week, and hours are planned and confirmed

• Clients understand where their project stands without having to chase for updates

• Bugs are caught in QA, not by the client
