Technical Lead (Java/Microservices)

Hitachi eBworx Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Technical Lead (Java) to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As a full-time Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical direction and implementation of our Java-based software projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards.

What you'll do:

• Lead the design, development, testing, and support of custom financial solutions.

• Collaborate with project managers to define and align resource plans with project schedules.

• Drive technical execution, ensuring the project meets scope and timeline.

• Work closely with customers to gather and finalize technical specifications.

• Guide the team with expertise, ensure adherence to quality standards, and support their growth.

What is needed from you:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent.

• 5+ years of experience in Java EE development.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multi-team coordination.

• Solid understanding of design documentation and experience with UML.

• Hands-on experience with Java EE frameworks and design patterns, preferably on Microservices architecture.

• Familiar with MVC frameworks such as Spring Boot.

• Worked with Java EE services such as EJB, JDBC, and JMS.

• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, SpringBoot, open source RDBMS, NoSQL, Event oriented system is a plus.
