Job Summary:
Lead manufacturing transfer and industrialization projects, driving production readiness and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Co-lead end-to-end manufacturing transfer projects and production ramp-up activities.
• Develop and execute transfer plans, readiness reviews, risk mitigation strategies, and qualification activities.
• Coordinate the transfer of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, test systems, documentation, and technical knowledge.
• Support outsourced NPI/NPD programs and ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT) principles are integrated early in the product lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary technical interface with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and drive supplier capability development initiatives.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), process validation, copy-exact transfers, engineering change management, and configuration control activities.
• Lead root cause investigations, corrective action implementation, and continuous improvement projects.
• Manage project milestones, risks, stakeholder communications, escalations, and executive-level reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Procurement to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI), New Product Development (NPD), Product Transfer, Industrialization, Supplier Engineering, or Contract Manufacturing environments.
• Experience within semiconductor equipment, automation systems, capital equipment, or precision manufacturing industries is an added advantage.
• Strong experience in module-level and system-level test protocols, test station setup, and validation activities.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, DFM, DFA, engineering drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), tolerancing, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Engineering Change Notices (ECN), and product lifecycle management.
• Proven project leadership experience with the ability to manage multiple concurrent programs, timelines, risks, and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners.
• Experience in assessing contract manufacturer capabilities, production readiness, supplier development, and performance management.
• Proficiency in structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why Analysis, Fishbone Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and data-driven decision-making techniques.
• Strong quality management knowledge including APQP, PPAP, FAI, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Control Plans, process validation, and risk management.
• Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to balance quality, cost, delivery, capacity, and risk considerations.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, adaptability to change, and commitment to continuous improvement.
