Technical Leader Manager

The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and visionary Technical Leader Manager to spearhead the development and delivery of innovative technology solutions within Hitachi, Ltd. This role demands a blend of technical mastery, leadership prowess, and strategic thinking to guide teams, drive technical excellence, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of highly skilled technical professionals (e.g., software engineers, architects, data scientists).
• Define technical roadmaps, architectural strategies, and best practices for complex systems and products.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Drive technical innovation, research new technologies, and assess their applicability to Hitachi's product portfolio.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, security, and performance of developed solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product management, project management, and other cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Conduct technical reviews, code inspections, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Represent Hitachi's technical capabilities to internal and external stakeholders.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in software development, Network Control Systems, EMS (Energy Management Systems), GMS (Grid Management Systems), SCADA, or related technologies.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in technical leadership or people management roles.
• Solid experience designing, developing, and deploying large-scale, complex software solutions.
• Advanced English proficiency,
• Strong knowledge of modern software architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
• Experience with project management practices and leading cross-functional teams.n for technology.
