Job Title: Technical Leader – RF & SATCOM

Location: San Francisco Bay Area - Hybrid/Remote considered

Salary: Competitive Base + Bonus + Equity

OVERVIEW:

My client is an innovative semiconductor company developing advanced RF technology for satellite and wireless communications applications.

They are looking for a Technical Leader to help grow their presence within the satellite communications market. This position will work closely with customers and engineering teams to identify new opportunities, support product adoption, and develop long-term commercial relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop new business opportunities across satellite communications and related RF markets.
• Build relationships with equipment manufacturers, system developers, operators, integrators, and technology partners.
• Work closely with customer engineering teams to understand technical requirements and identify suitable product solutions.
• Support customers throughout product evaluation, qualification, and adoption.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of strategic customer opportunities.
• Gather customer and market feedback to support product and commercial strategy.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering and leadership teams on key customer programs.
• Represent the business at customer meetings and relevant industry events.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of experience within satellite communications, RF, microwave/mmWave, antenna systems, or related semiconductor markets.
• Strong understanding of RF systems and satellite communications applications.
• Experience working with phased-array or electronically steered antenna technologies is highly desirable.
• Previous customer-facing experience within business development, applications engineering, product management, sales engineering, or systems engineering.
• Experience supporting technical product evaluations and customer design-in activity.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both engineering and commercial stakeholders.
• Existing relationships within the satellite communications ecosystem would be advantageous.
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, growth-stage technology environment.
• Ability to travel for customer engagements as required.
