Technical Leads (IT Solutions Specialists)

Overview

The IT Solutions Specialist provides technical analysis, solution input, and subject matter expertise across the organization's enterprise technology landscape, including Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Core Insurance Systems, and Digital Platforms. The role is responsible for translating business requirements into feasible, scalable, secure, and high-quality technical solutions that support business objectives and operational efficiency.

The role acts as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) across assigned systems and applications, bridging Business Analysis, business functions, Enterprise Architecture, Development, QA, Information Security, Infrastructure, and external vendors. It ensures that proposed system changes, integrations, and enhancements are technically sound, aligned with business needs, and delivered in accordance with established architecture, security, quality, and change management standards.

The role also supports solution design validation, system integration, impact assessment, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement across enterprise applications, core insurance platforms, and customer-facing digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical analysis for projects, change requests (CRs), system enhancements, and integration initiatives across enterprise applications, core insurance systems, and digital platforms.
• Review and validate Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and functional requirements to ensure completeness, clarity, technical feasibility, and alignment with existing system capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements, solution components, system changes, data requirements, integrations, and dependencies.
• Conduct technical impact assessments to identify system dependencies, risks, constraints, and potential implications for connected applications and business operations.
• Challenge requirements where necessary and recommend solutions that maximize existing system capabilities while minimizing unnecessary customization and complexity.
• Provide technical input during requirements clarification, solution design, estimation, planning, and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical analysis, solution validation, requirements gathering, and solution design within IT projects.
• Ability to interpret BRDs and functional requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications and solution inputs.
• Good understanding of enterprise applications, system architecture, integrations, APIs, interfaces, and data flows.
• Experience assessing technical feasibility, system dependencies, integration impacts, risks, and implementation considerations.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile delivery, change management, testing, deployment, and release management.
• Experience collaborating with internal development teams, architects, QA teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Good understanding of databases, data structures, data mapping, and system interfaces.
• Experience supporting application troubleshooting, incident analysis, root-cause analysis, and production support.

Essential skills

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in IT solutions, technical analysis, enterprise applications, or system integrations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, or relevant technology certifications are an advantage.
