Job details

• Permanent, full time

• Immediate start available

• 7-day Pitman roster, 12-hour shifts, a combination of 2 and 3 days on/off, offering a strong balance of work and time off

• Guaranteed minimum 82.25 paid hours per fortnightly roster cycle, averaging approximately 41 paid hours per week

• Night shift roles available

• $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, with overtime and paid leave at or above that rate. Paid fortnightly

What will your work involve?

• Support the successful operation of an aseptic bottle blowing and filling production facility, including beverage machinery operation, batching and warehousing tasks

• Actively support Engineering to ensure all production equipment is maintained to an effective level of operation and safety

• Follow all food safety, quality and health and safety procedures, including GMP and hygiene requirements in an aseptic environment

• Be an outstanding member of the Apollo Foods team, sharing responsibility for business success, developing yourself and contributing with enthusiasm

• Upskilling will be available if you are interested in learning a wide range of areas of the manufacturing operation

Minimum requirements

• At least six months' experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety
• Good written and numerical skills
• Able to work a rotating 12-hour shift roster including nights and weekends
• Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and in a team
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• No formal qualification required

Advantageous, not essential

• Krones machinery, aseptic or beverage processing, or PET blow moulder experience
• Current forklift licence (F endorsement). Training can be provided
