What you'll be doing?

• Lead Technical Solutions: Drive the development and review of project technical solutions, ensuring engineering feasibility and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate Technical Matters: Collaborate with consultants, contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless technical communication and coordination.
• Optimize Construction Drawings: Review and improve construction drawings to prevent design errors and construction issues, enhancing project efficiency.
• Provide Technical Leadership: Oversee on-site technical operations, resolving complex issues and ensuring adherence to project requirements.
• Develop Technical Systems: Create and maintain technical management systems, quality manuals, and internal standards that promote standardization and innovation.
• Manage Technical Team: Lead and mentor a technical team, assigning responsibilities, monitoring performance, and facilitating technical training.
• Oversee Technical Documentation: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical documentation, design changes, and project records.
• Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with procurement, commercial, construction, quality, and safety teams to achieve project goals.
• Lead Technical Proposals: Contribute to technical proposals and evaluations during the tendering stage, showcasing your expertise and innovation.

Who are they looking for?

• Engineering Degree: A degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering is essential for a strong technical foundation.
• Proven Experience: At least five years of experience in managing technical functions within the construction industry, showcasing your ability to lead and innovate.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction drawings, engineering codes, and quality assurance/quality control requirements, ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
• Leadership Skills: Strong team leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, allowing you to effectively guide and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical skills to assess technical challenges and develop effective solutions, along with strong problem-solving abilities to address complex issues.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills to articulate technical concepts and collaborate with various stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
