Technical Manager

Position: Technical Manager
Location: UAE
Experience: 8–12 years in construction, preferably UAE experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all technical aspects of construction projects from design development through execution and handover.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, design drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Review project designs and identify technical issues, discrepancies, and constructability concerns.
• Manage the RFI, technical submittal, material approval, and drawing approval processes.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and project requirements.
• Provide technical support to project and site teams for resolving construction-related issues.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, architectural, and specialist subcontractors.
• Monitor design changes and ensure proper implementation and documentation.
• Assist in planning, cost control, value engineering, and technical decision-making.
• Ensure all technical documentation is properly maintained throughout the project.
• Support project handover, as-built documentation, testing, and commissioning activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or relevant Engineering discipline.
• 8–12 years of construction experience, preferably with UAE/GCC experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, technical coordination, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience handling consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant technical software.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in commercial, residential, fit-out, or turnkey construction projects is an advantage.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
