Technical Manager

We are looking for an experienced Marine Technical Manager to oversee the technical operations, maintenance, and performance of the company's vessels. The candidate will ensure vessel reliability, safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient technical management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical operations and maintenance of all company vessels.
• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate vessel repairs, dry-docking, inspections, and technical services.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, flag state requirements, and safety standards.
• Monitor vessel performance and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Coordinate with vessel Captains, Chief Engineers, suppliers, and service providers.
• Manage technical budgets, spare parts, equipment, and maintenance costs.
• Review technical reports, maintenance records, and vessel inspection findings.
• Ensure the availability of critical spare parts and technical equipment.
• Attend vessels when required to inspect their technical condition.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency technical situations.
• Prepare regular technical reports for Management.
• Supervise and guide the technical team to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marine Engineering or a related technical field.
• Previous experience in marine technical management or a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance, marine machinery, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of maritime regulations, safety standards, and vessel inspections.
• Experience in managing repairs, dry-docking, and technical budgets.
• Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent technical matters.
• Proficiency in MS Office and technical reporting.
• UAE marine industry experience is an Mandatory .

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
