Technical Manager

The Technical Manager oversees the technical operations and engineering activities of the company’s solar projects. This role is responsible for ensuring the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar systems meet quality, safety, and performance standards. The Technical Manager leads a team of engineers and technicians, coordinates with project managers and clients, and drives technical improvements to optimize system efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. This position also ensures compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies while providing technical guidance and problem solving support across all solar projects

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Oversee overall technical operations and project execution of solar PV installations
• Manage and supervise engineering, installation, and technical teams
• Review and approve technical designs, methodologies, and project plans
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company policies
• Lead project planning, scheduling, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Develop, improve, and implement technical procedures, workflows, and departmental processes
• Provide technical guidance, risk assessment, and issue resolution across projects
• Monitor project performance, quality, and resource utilization
• Prepare technical reports, evaluations, and recommendations for management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least three (3) years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role
• Holder of a valid Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) license
• With valid driver’s license (minimum restriction B, B1 ‒ MT/AT)
• Previous work experience involving project management and/or engineering management
• Strong leadership, planning, and decision-making skills
• Ability to introduce and implement new management systems or departmental processes
• Capable of handling multiple projects, schedules, and technical teams
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders/vips.
