Technical Manager – Electronic Security Solution

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Advisory

• Provide technical guidance and support to Project Manager, Engineers, and Technicians throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review technical designs, specifications, drawings, and system architectures to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
• Assist in resolving complex technical issues, system faults, and integration challenges.
• Support project teams during system implementation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Develop and maintain technical standards, procedures, and best practices.

Project Support

• Support project team in planning, risk assessment, and resource coordination.
• Review project deliverables and provide recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential technical risks and mitigation actions.
• Participate in project meetings, site inspections, and customer discussions as the technical representative.
• Assist in ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within technical requirements.

Technical Solutions & Engineering

• Provide technical expertise for:

  • CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems
  • Access Control Systems
  • Intrusion Alarm Systems
  • Intercom Systems
  • Video Analytics & AI Solutions
  • Visitor Management Systems
  • Integrated Security Management Platforms
  • IP Networking & Security Infrastructure

• Review new technologies and recommend solutions that enhance system performance and customer value.

Customer & Sales Support

• Support the Sales team with technical consultations, solution design, tenders, and proposal preparation.
• Attend customer meetings and site surveys to provide technical advice and recommendations.
• Assist in developing customized security solutions that meet customer operational needs and budgets.
• Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and technology partners.

Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Support quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with technical standards and company requirements.
• Conduct technical reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and innovation programs.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

• Provide technical coaching and knowledge sharing to engineers, technicians, and project team.
• Develop technical documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
• Support product and technology training for internal stakeholders.
• Promote technical competency and professional development across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Electronic Security Systems, Security Integration, or ELV Systems.
• Strong hands-on experience in system design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting large-scale security projects and multi-site installations.
• Exposure to enterprise security systems and integrated solutions.
