Technical Manager / Engineer

Job Summary

You will be responsible for providing technical support for the Company’s manufacturing operations in relation to quality and product application.

Job Description

• Oversee daily spun pile manufacturing operations, including concrete batching, centrifugal spinning, tensioning, demoulding and steam curing.
• Manage mechanical and electrical maintenance schedules for spinning machines, tensioning jacks, overhead cranes and batching plants to minimise downtime.
• Manage concrete cube testing and non-destructive testing.
• Lead continuous improvement in concrete mix designs to improve compressive strength, workability, and cost efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and train production supervisors, technicians, and floor workers.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian standards (e.g., Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia, Construction Industry Development Board ("CIDB")) for pile strength, dimensional tolerances and durability.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety Health Act ("OSHA") and local environmental regulations. Implement strict, safety protocols relating to heavy machinery and high-pressure steam operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in precast concrete or spun pile manufacturing, with demonstrated capability in production and technical leadership.
• Deep understanding of concrete technology, autoclaved curing processes and piling installation methods.
• Familiarity with Malaysian construction compliance, CIDB guidelines,  and OSHA  safety standards.
