Technical Office Electrical Engineer

Technical Office Electrical Engineer is required in a multinational Engineering Company.

• Develop and maintain electrical BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design to construction and handover.
• Perform clash detection and coordination with other disciplines (mechanical, structural, architectural) to resolve conflicts and optimize designs.
• Generate detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and reports from BIM models, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors, to integrate BIM into design and construction workflows.
• Participate in design reviews, providing expert input on electrical systems and BIM implementation.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the electrical engineering department.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and material estimations from BIM models for procurement and cost control.
• Provide training and support to other team members on BIM software and processes.
• Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry trends.
• Prepare shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and BOQs as part of Technical Office deliverables.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering / Technical Office / BIM with a strong focus on BIM.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD Electrical, Navisworks, or similar.
• Good knowledge of ELV systems (Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, PA, Telecom, BMS).
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems.
• Experience with relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NFPA, local regulations).
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• High fluency in the English language is mandatory.
