We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Technical Office Engineer to join our team in Mivida, New Cairo, Egypt .

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review comprehensive shop drawings, cutting lists, and detailed fabrication drawings for wooden works (doors, wall cladding, wardrobes, fire-rated doors, and bespoke joinery).
• Review consultant/architectural drawings, identify design discrepancies, and prepare RFIs.
• Conduct material take-offs (BOQ), prepare cutting sheets, and optimize material utilization to reduce wastage.
• Coordinate technical specifications, ironmongery/hardware schedules, and installation details with the factory, site engineers, and project managers.
• Ensure shop drawings strictly adhere to project specifications, industry standards, and architectural design intent.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Applied Arts (Interior Design), or related field.
• 5+ years of solid experience specifically in joinery, wooden works, and fit-out technical offices (factory or fit-out contracting experience is highly preferred).
• High proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (proficiency in SolidWorks / Topsolid / SketchUp is a plus).
• Strong technical knowledge of wood types, veneers, ironmongery, joinery assembly methods, and fire-rated door systems.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
