Technical Officer, District Cooling Operations - Maintenance (Electrical)

Join a team that keeps critical infrastructure running. We're looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to support the operation and maintenance of a District Cooling Plant, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of critical electrical systems and equipment.

Bonus: 1 month completion bonus
Duration: 1 year (Renewable & convertible)
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm
Allowances: Mobile Allowance /Meal Allowance /Heat & Noise Allowance

What you'll be doing:

• Perform preventive, corrective, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on MV/LV electrical systems, transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS, VSDs, and power distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify electrical faults to ensure maximum plant reliability and availability.
• Plan and execute maintenance activities in compliance with safety standards, maintenance schedules, and operational requirements.
• Prepare and review PTW, RA, SWP, SOPs, Method Statements, and other maintenance documentation.
• Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure work is completed safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical documentation, and operational logs.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and support critical maintenance activities when required.

What we're looking for:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in utilities, district cooling plants, data centres, power plants, or similar industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, and power distribution equipment.
• Proven troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Experience supervising maintenance works, contractors, and technicians.
• Familiar with PTW systems, risk assessments, and workplace safety requirements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across all levels.
• A proactive team player who can work independently and perform under pressure..
