Technical Officer | Tengah

Our client is the sole electrical grid and gas grid operator in the country, and provides electricity and gas transmission, distribution services, and market support services to more than a million households in Singapore.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm
Location: Tengah

Responsibilities:

• Attend to Centralized Cooling System (CCS) defects at Tengah
• Supervise and manage CCS rectification works for inside and outside HDB dwelling units including carrying out technical assessments, supervision of contractors leading to resolution of CCS issues
• Attend to joint inspections with various stakeholders such as residents, contractors, IDs etc
• Update system after technical assessments, work carried out etc
• Submit request for approvals after attending to joint inspections
• Administer contractor works order, completion certificate etc.
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering, Building, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in building maintenance, defect rectification or facilities management.
• Experience in supervising contractors and coordinating rectification works will be an advantage.
• Meticulous and organized, with good documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Willing to perform site inspections and attend to matters within and outside residential units.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with residents, contractors and other stakeholders.
