Technical Officer / Technical Assistant

Job duty

• Perform environmental and chemical testing in accordance with established procedures and quality requirements.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot analytical instruments such as ICP, HPLC, IC and other laboratory equipment.
• Assist in method development, validation and implementation of test procedures.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, HOKLAS and laboratory quality requirements.
• Assist to monitor workflow, develop, and update test procedures as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirement

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree / Higher Diploma in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology or related disciplines

• At least 3 years working experiences in environmental or chemical testing laboratories is preferred

• Familiar with ISO 17025 quality system and accreditation requirements.

• Knowledge of environmental and chemical testing methods, including SMWW, USEPA, ASTM and GB standards.

• Hands-on experience in analytical instruments such as ICP-MS, HPLC, IC, GC etc.

• Immediate available is an advantage

• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Technical Assistant
