What You Will Do

As a Field Services Technical officer is responsible for executing hands-on corrective and preventive maintenance, status monitoring, and ad-hoc troubleshooting for transit ticketing devices and station facilities.

Key Tasks You Will Be Involved In

• Corrective Maintenance of LTA and SPL devices Perform corrective maintenance and fault rectification for LTA and SPL devices in order to ensure high system availability and minimal service disruption by responding promptly to breakdowns and troubleshooting hardware or software issues effectively.
• Carry out preventive maintenance for TUK, TUK-A and SPL devices in order to improve equipment reliability and reduce recurring faults by following planned maintenance schedules, checklists and operational procedures.
• Support ad-hoc maintenance activities for station facilities and equipment in order to maintain operational readiness and safe working conditions by attending to lighting systems, TO/TSC requirements and urgent maintenance requests.
• Support project implementation and commissioning activities for LTA kiosks and SPL devices in order to ensure smooth deployment and operational readiness by assisting in setup, relocation, testing and on-site coordination works.
• Update maintenance records and service reports in MMS or Microsoft Forms in order to maintain accurate documentation and support operational tracking by ensuring timely and detailed submission after job completion.
• Monitor the operational status of SPL devices through the DM App in order to ensure timely fault response and device reliability by tracking alerts closely and escalating or attending to issues promptly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

This role might be for you if you have:

• Relevant technical training in Electronics, Electro-Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in troubleshooting ticketing devices or electro-mechanical equipment is an advantage.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Punctual, disciplined and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to identify, prioritize and resolve tasks efficiently.
• Willing to work shifts (0700–1630 / 1300–2230), weekends, public holidays, and occasional nights
