TECHNICAL OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

IMGS Group is looking for a Technical Operations Coordinator to manage field teams and support the successful execution of technical projects. The candidate will supervise technicians, coordinate site activities, monitor project progress, and ensure that work is completed safely and according to project requirements.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, responsible, and empathetic, with the ability to understand and support technicians while maintaining good discipline and project standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate technicians and field teams
• Plan and assign daily tasks based on project requirements
• Monitor technical work and project progress at site
• Ensure work is completed according to drawings, instructions, and project requirements
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, and site teams
• Identify and resolve technical and operational issues at site
• Ensure technicians have the required tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials
• Monitor work quality, productivity, and safety
• Provide technical guidance and support to field teams when required
• Prepare daily and regular project updates for management
• Manage technician schedules, attendance, and site requirements
• Support mobilization and deployment of technicians to different projects
• Understand technicians’ concerns and maintain a positive and respectful working environment
• Handle team issues fairly and professionally
• Ensure company and client safety procedures are followed
• Travel to project sites when required

Requirements

• Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, or related field
• Previous experience supervising technicians or field teams
• Good understanding of industrial equipment, maintenance, installation, or project work
• Experience working on technical projects and construction/industrial sites is an advantage
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Able to work well with technicians from different backgrounds and nationalities
• Willing to travel and work at project sites when required
