Technical Operations Project Lead

About the Role

As a Technical Operations Project Lead, you will drive the lifecycle of complex industrial engineering projects, ensuring seamless coordination between production teams, external vendors, and engineering departments. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational workflows and delivering high-quality technical outcomes that meet rigorous performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production schedules and resource allocation to ensure monthly output and profitability targets are consistently achieved.
• Manage the end-to-end flow of work between internal shop operations and external contractors, including site visits and final quality validation.
• Maintain comprehensive logs of work-in-progress to provide accurate billing projections and status updates to key stakeholders.
• Leverage ERP systems to generate project documentation and ensure data integrity across all operational workflows.
• Champion workplace safety initiatives by collaborating with the safety committee and maintaining meticulous compliance records.
• Conduct technical site inspections and develop detailed project proposals that define scope and resource requirements.
• Collaborate with test engineering teams to master testing methodologies and provide critical data for hydraulic performance verification.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 4-5 years of experience in project management or technical operations within an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP software systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
