About the role

Turn operational problems into automation opportunities that are feasible, valuable, correctly scoped, and ready for delivery. This role sits between Sales, the client, and the delivery team. You will make sure PintarMind pursues the right opportunities, asks the right questions, proposes the right solution, and hands over a scope the delivery team can trust. This is a technical, commercial, and client-facing solution role.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify whether a client process is suitable for automation based on volume, frequency, stability, data quality, system access, exception rate, risk, and expected value.
• Lead structured discovery sessions and convert business conversations into clear AS-IS workflows, pain points, rules, exceptions, controls, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
• Design the solution across RPA, APIs, OCR/IDP, AI-assisted processing, databases, spreadsheets, email, cloud storage, accounting, ERP, POS, and other business systems.
• Confirm feasibility with the Technical Lead when the solution has unfamiliar systems, integrations, security constraints, or material technical risk.
• Prepare effort estimates, assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, implementation phases, risks, and proposal inputs that protect delivery quality and project margin.
• Build or coordinate demos and lightweight proof-of-concepts that show the business outcome, not only the technology.
• Present the proposed workflow in language that business owners, finance teams, outlet operators, and technical stakeholders can understand.
• Run the pre-sales-to-delivery handover and remain available to resolve scope intent, assumptions, or design questions during delivery.
• Capture repeatable patterns and help turn successful client solutions into productised automation packages.

What we are looking for

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in automation/RPA delivery, solution consulting, technical pre-sales, business analysis with strong technical exposure, or a similar role.
• Hands-on fluency in at least one automation platform such as Laiye, UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, or an equivalent platform.
• Working understanding of APIs, webhooks, databases, OCR/IDP, authentication, scheduling, queues, exception handling, logging, and deployment environments.
• Ability to map a real business process and distinguish business requirements from technical design decisions.
• Ability to estimate delivery effort, identify unknowns, and refuse unsupported commitments.
• Strong client communication, facilitation, documentation, and presentation skills in English.
• Comfort working with business owners and teams in finance, operations, purchasing, retail, F&B, wholesale, or other transaction-heavy environments.
• Willingness to work from Johor Bahru and travel to client sites in Malaysia when required.

Experience that will stand out

• Finance automation exposure: AP, AR, bank or payment reconciliation, invoice processing, ERP/accounting entries, or month-end workflows.
• Multi-outlet, retail, F&B, wholesale, manufacturing, or shared-services process experience.
• Experience converting discovery findings into proposals, SOWs, solution designs, BRDs, or implementation estimates.
• Ability to create a convincing business case using transaction volume, current effort, error cost, cycle time, and projected savings.
• Experience with AI-assisted document processing, agentic workflows, or combining deterministic automation with human review.

Selection process

1.    Introductory discussion: experience, motivation, client exposure, and role fit.

2.    Case-based discovery: analyse a real operational workflow and identify missing information, risks, and automation suitability.

3.    Solution presentation: present the proposed future workflow, assumptions, scope, estimate, and success measures.

4.    Final discussion: working style, expectations, availability, and offer alignment.
